DEPRESSING: YESTERDAY EVENING IT SNOWED

depressing: yesterday evening it snowed something like 3 inches, and then it started raining. my dad and i shoveled the driveway, fearing that if we didn’t do it last night, it would freeze and be impossible to shovel today. of course, the temperature didn’t drop that low, and now we not only don’t have any ice, but all the snow has melted too. *sigh*

not depressing: apple has released 3 new g3 computers that sport swanky translucent blue shells. but for those detractors of the imac, these have floppy drives [ED: this was lie born out of ignorance, not malice] and are fully expandable. and i mean really expandable. you can expand the ram to 1 gig on one model. and each of them ships with an ATI RAGE 128 graphics card with 16 mb of video ram, which apple has announced as the new standard hardware for it’s g3s. oh, and for those who do like imacs, they now come in an assortment of colors. drooooool.
