I’VE BEEN CAMPING FOR THE

i’ve been camping for the last week. being away from tv and computers etc is weird. all i had to do was read. luckily i had a good book, but when i’d finished that i actually went on to the newspapers. usually i skim’em because i’m lazy and apathetic, but camping seems to force me to be a little more intellectual. i actually read a whole bunch of articles all the way through (yes this is a sad post. go do something else and come back next week). most of the time when i see an article i want to read, i tell myself i’m going to read it and then promptly turn on the tv and forget about it. but i can’t even get comfy on a couch when i’m camping, so all i can do is read. i bet if i went out in the woods for a month with a laptop, no modem, and the best battery ever created, i’d come out with a novel.
