THE WEATHER OUTSIDE IS FRIGHTFUL

Frightfully mild. Andy is in town, so we’ve been eatin’ and drinkin’ and the like. Went to a trivia night at a bar last night, and didn’t do too badly for ourselves. We were called “BriGuy and the Extra Virgins,” because we spilled almost a gallon of olive oil all over our pantry an hour or two before heading out. Andy went nuts at Amoeba, and seemed to like the Berkeley campus. Jess is all of 23 now, and soon she’ll be a star.

This year I’ve opted to buy gifts from vendors other than Amazon, which makes the work profoundly more difficult. I still need to get a few things before my plane departs SFO on Thursday for the cold lands of the Northeast. I miss the cold.
