· 15TH OF DECEMBER, THE YEAR 1997I JUST GOT MY DRIVER’S
i just got my driver’s liscence (woohoo!), and it got me to thinking: some of the people who are most familiar with the rules of the road are people who are just getting their liscence. they’ve been studying and practicing so they don’t fail their driving test. They know things like that under the CT law point system, operating a school bus at excesive speeds is just as bad as negligent homicide with a moter vehicle. But it seems that nobody else is that familiar with the rules. so i propose that people should have to retake their driving test every 2 or 3 years, or maybe just every time they need to get their liscence renewed. before you start complainign about what an annoying hassle that would be, think about this: if people had to constantly retake the driving test, there would either be a lot more informed and knoledgable drivers, or there would be a lot fewer morons on the road. both might result in less accidents (more people would be sure of right of way laws and what not), and the latter might even result in a heightened need for public transportation, which would be great for everyone. but would probably never become law or anything. razza frazzin people with their lack of concern for the greater good….grrrrrr….
