CLOUDS. CLOUD ATLAS. I ONLY JUST PICKED UP ON THAT…

What’s this you say about a web site? Oh yes. This. I have been back in the Bay Area for a week now. Turns out my old life was still here waiting for me, albeit with a few twists. While I was flying back, as I was buried in Cloud Atlas, I glanced out my window to behold a strange sight. The land was all murky darkness, but puddles of hazy phosphorescence seemed to extend in all directions. They were towns, I imagine, shining under an overcast sky, undercast from my perspective. For a moment, though, I looked out upon an entirely alien landscape, and I honestly didn’t know where I was. I feel like I have some kind of visual revelation like this every time I fly. Pilots must see these things all the time. I wonder how often they’re surprised.

I’m going to MacWorld tomorrow. They sent me a little access pass. I wish the pass came in the form of a pocket protector, or a graphing calculator, or perhaps a calculator watch, but alas, I am forced to represent with a dull slab of plastic. Maybe I’ll try and bulk this post up with some pictures tomorrow. Perhaps even pictures of The Guru‘s One More Thing. I want a Mac phone and/or a Mac tablet. Neither will come to pass.

The next day…

And I want a pony. Boo hoo.

The MacBook Pro is much better than a pony though, although I don’t like the name… it will probably grow on people much like the “i” series of products. I have this strange inkling that there is a… MacBook non-Pro coming… probably at…. ADC…. alas, that’s all of my psychic abilities for today.
