DUMB IDEA FROM A NAIVE

dumb idea from a naive yuppy: i think all the people who might possibly be considered “wealthy” in this world shouldn’t just make charitable donations, they should literally donate as much of their salary so that they’re forced to live a middle class lifestyle. think how much money that would generate. what if bill gates lived in a modest colonial house in ohio, and if he actually had to do his own taxes and worry about if he would have enough money to send his kids through college and still afford that new car that the family needs. but he would still make the gazillions he currently makes, he would just give most of it away to charitable causes. wouldn’t that be cool? ok. i’ve had my moment.
