· 27TH OF NOVEMBER, THE YEAR 2006THANKSGIVING AND THE DEATH OF GUH?

Thanksgiving with school folks was an unqualified success. Ok, one qualification: don’t roast okra for Thanksgiving. Gross. You might not want to roast okra ever, I don’t know. At least don’t let me roast okra for you. Yankee samurai like myself should probably stick to epic katana duels with Redcoats. I also got to drive the fine vehicle you see to your right, risking not one but two lives. It’s so rare that I get to bring that many people so close to the brink of destruction.
I’ve been out searching for mushrooms quite a bit recently, and though I’ve found many edibles, I always seem to discover them before or well past the point of palatability. Here are some recent finds:

It’s also come to my attention that I am barely updating this site these days, and the few posts that you see here tend to mirror my Flickr stream. It would be a shame to slay this old beast on the cusp of its 10th anniversary, but I think a repurposing is in order, along with some editing, and possible re-darking (a semi-facetious neologism that should mean “returning posts to the dark neuronal recesses of my skull from the harsh revealing light of the Intertron”). For those interested in some more frequent stalkfodder, allow me to suggest localoaf.org, yet another meme propagation blog I’ve been posting to along with some classmates.
Anyway, time will tell.
