“It would be cool if you’re car played a different kind of music for different speeds you were going. For instance, from 10 to 20 mph, it would play the scooby doo theme song, 70-80 could be southern banjo chase music, and 80 and up could be the theme from the a-team.” the following is a conversation we had during physics: eric:”is there any way i can get surgury on my larynx? i want to sound exactly like homer simpson.” me:”i don’t know. seems like you could. they’d have to analyse the speech patterns of the guy who does homer’s voice while he’s doing the voice. they’ve have to measure the modulations of the size of his larynx while he was talking, and try to alter yours in the same fashion.” eric:”maybe they wouldn’t have to do surgery. maybe they could just make this device that pinched my larynx into the right shape.” me:”yeah, no fuss, no muss.” eric:”and they’d have to make me know all the manerisms of his speech.” me:”yeah, but you’d have to learn them yourself. unless you could get some external attatchment that altered your brain…” eric:”screw the surgery. they should just make a big helmet that covers your entire head and neck except your mouth.” (much laughter. it was funny at the time) |
although i contributed to these ideas, they were mainly spawned directly from erics demented psyche. i don’t know why he doesn’t come up with his own page like this. wait, then i’d lose material, and that would be bad.
