FOR THOSE OF YOU CRAZY

for those of you crazy recluses who are actually more out of touch with reality than me, lucasfilms has released the official trailer for the new star wars movie, the phantom menace. people across the country are paying the money for full length features just to see this trailer, but you can get it for free @ www.starwars.com, the official web site. the trailer is booty hauling, and even though i spent half an hour downloading it and even though it’s only about the size of 2 large stamps on my screen, it’s well worth it. i’m practically salivating all over my keyboard just thinking about how great the movie is going to be.

:there’s a 9 mb version and a larger, better 20 mb version of the file, and it’s available in quicktime, .mov, or avi format. there’s also a realplayer version.

(if you have trouble downloading directly from starwars.com, try this page. it has a list of mirror sites where you can download it. or you can download a video that someone made of the actual trailer in a theater, although i have no idea what it’s like.)
