I just want you all to know that the cinematic incarnation of Firefly I may have mentioned to you in passing, the movie that may have brought a small glimmering drop of saliva to the corner of my mouth and focused my eyes on some unseen ray of hope over your shoulder, is not imaginary. It is real enough to have a trailer, and what movie with a trailer doesn’t at least make it to DVD? It will be mine.

Actually, after having watched this thing 5 hojillion times, I’m scared. There seems to be a lot more ’space’ than ‘western,’ and (shock) that’s a bad thing. Let’s hope this trailer was just very jazzed up piece of candy for the Large Explosions set, and that the actual movie has a little more quiet guitar strumming than face kicks.
