PLEASE GO SEE SERENITY. PLEASE.

Everyone: Serenity hits theaters tonight. It is the film adaptation (continuation?) of my favorite TV show ever, Firefly. I can’t tell you whether it will be good, but I can guarantee that it will contain spaceships. NYTimes approves. If you were disappointed with the new Star Wars movies, or the Matrix sequels, or any recent cinematic scifi, or if you liked Buffy, or Angel, you should see this. If you do, if a lot of people do, then Universal will see their investment was not in vain, and perhaps fund another movie. Maybe, just maybe, strong opening weekend sales will inspire a TV channel to pick up the show again, thereby returning an iota of meaning to my empty little life.
